The Story Behind CleanManager  

CleanManager was founded in 2010 by Frantz Furrer and Jakob Witte Larsen. The idea behind the company didn’t come from a boardroom — it came from hands-on experience.

While studying Computer Engineering, Frantz worked as a cleaning operative and supervisor. He saw firsthand how much time was wasted on administrative tasks — scheduling, time tracking, managing employees — and realised the industry needed a more efficient way to stay organised.

With his technical background and industry insight, Frantz teamed up with Jakob, a fellow Computer Engineering student, to create a solution tailored to cleaning businesses. Their goal was simple: to reduce admin work so companies could focus on delivering great service.

What started as a project soon became CleanManager: a software platform designed to streamline planning, time tracking, and communication for cleaning companies. What began as a two-person team has grown into a dedicated group of 20+ employees, all focused on developing and improving the software.
